Sounds very nice altogether, especially the own saxophone melody you added! :)
Mh, the only things that were not as great as in the original were the bass tones, they gave a cooler feeling in the normal version. If you listen to the original and concentrate on the bass tones only, you might notice that a few important tones are used that you didn't use. Unfortunately I'm not good in notes and so on, but in the part where all the tones get higher, there I see where the bass could be changed. I played the game so often when I was a kid so I know about the bass. XD
I hope you know what I mean and I could help a little tiny bit. :D

Yeah, this was a while back, and the bass line was pretty much invented. I just couldn't manage to separate it out in my head, and finally got bored with listening to the song OVER and OVER, so I made my own up. XD

lately most of my newer songs seem to transition from one style to another. all by accident too. but the outcome usually seems to be worth it. and i listned to this while i responded, i just cant seem to hear distortion in the kick, maybe i should turn my speakers up. that was the problem last time sumthin like that was pointed out. enough rambling
